Tons ‘O’ Fun

5:50am, snooze, 6:00am, snooze, 6:10am, awake, eat cereal, defecate, shower, at the office by 7:30am.  I’ve only been doing this routine for about 3 months, but already it’s become sooo monotonous.  I’m not sure if I can do this for the next 30 years.  Granted, being home in time for dinner every night and having the weekends off are priceless, and so very awesome.  Still, something is going to have to change with the mornings, I’m not sure what, but they’re just dull and annoying.  Quite honestly I’m not sure how much better work is.  There is never an end to the work I do.  After one official month on the floor I’ve gone start to finish with my work, and now that a new month is about to start, the same exact work will start all over again. If it’s not a psychotic driver that kills me, it will be the monotony of life.

I’ve always wanted to be a cop, but always chickened out because I was afraid I would get shot by some idiot during a routine traffic stop.  Too often I don’t follow my intuition for menial worries like that.  It’s stupid really.  Granted I’d rather be safe at home with my wife, but life craves adventure, and I steer clear so I don’t risk getting physically hurt.  What a stupid philosophy I follow.  One day I’ll have to make a decision, but right now the money’s good, I’m home every night, off on the weekends, and I don’t bring work home.  What’s to complain about?
